The Whitworth University Polynesian Club will host the university’s 54th Annual Lū’au on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, in the Whitworth Fieldhouse.

This year’s theme, “Flowers of the Pacific,” highlights the beauty, strength and cultural identity of Pasifika communities through the symbolic flowers of their islands. Each island represented in the program will share the meaning and significance of its traditional lei/flower, honoring the deep connections between land, culture and people across the Pacific.

Guests will experience the vibrant cultures of the Pacific through traditional performances, music, and storytelling representing Hawai’i, Samoa, Tonga, Aotearoa (New Zealand), and the Marshall Islands. From graceful hula to powerful haka, from rhythmic siva to energetic island dances, the evening will showcase the diversity and unity of the Pacific.
